along with Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi,
Minister of State, Health and
Family Welfare. The session
was attended by Mr Naresh Dayal,
Secretary, Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare, Chairman,
Governing Board, Jansankhya Sthirata
Kosh and

dignitaries including Smt. Vandana
Kumari Jena, Director
General, National Literacy Mission
and Sh. Yogendra Choudhary, Executive Director, NYKS,
Dr. C.S. Pran,
Director (Programme), NYKS and Sh.

Director of the NSS programme.
Dr. Ramadoss
directly put questions to a packed
hall of young participants and
encouraged them with personal words of
advice. Later, both the Hon’ble
Union
Minister and Minister of State for Health and Family
Welfare jointly released the CD on
GIS mapping and census data prepared
by Janasankhya Sthirta Kosh for 261
districts of the EAG states.
